Double sided tape on a 2k2 (black)

My worst fear is here.......messing w/ black paint and goof off....goo gone, whatever.

There's a lot of double sided tape on this car where the body kit used to be...

I tried a small area on the front bumper to try to get this nasty crap off, but the sh8t just stays there, and today I noticed it was a little faded compared to where I didnt use goof off.

Ive used goof off on many other cars/maximas.....and the paint never looked like it does now. What else should I try to get this crap off?

I'm assuming there is some of the 'foam' part of the tape on the car in addition to the adhesive. If that's the case, try heating it up with a hair dryer. Then use your finger to kinda roll it off. All that should be left would be a thin layer of adhesive. I have used Goo Gone for that and it hasn't messed up my paint.
