I just did the AE Mod to my 2000 headlights.
Will post pics when finished.

While they are apart, I want to get rid of the nasty haze they have.

I read the writeup before...
1000 grit, 2000 grit sandpaper wetsanding w. soap...

my question is on the buffing part.

I have some glass polish compound.. is it ok to use on plastic?

If not, what plastic polish can I pick up locally? Pepboys/autozone

If you have any other tips, much appreciated. Thanks.

 

i doubt glass cleaner will work. i used meguiars plast-x on mine using a polisher. works pretty good, just takes a little longer than you want it to.

 

What glass polish is it, it probably will work fine. Any light polish should work fine

But the sandpaper method is the way to get them to look brand new again

 

Actually, I found something even better.

It is a polish used for fiber optics to make them optimally shiny.
