still got scrathes

still got scrathes

Yesterday i washed then clayed then waxed my car. Even though i used a clay bar i still got scratches on my paint and they arent deep??? what did i do wrong?? should i have used a polish also?? or scratch remover??

Yes, you need to use a polish or scratch remover. A clay bar only removes surface contaminants. It will do nothing on scratches or swirl marks.

Blue beat me to it, oh well. You can expect more scratches to appear as your wax wears off too fyi.Good luck with the black car...

yea man i was gonna polish also but it takes so dam long i skipped it (big mistake) thing is after waxing the scrathes that didnt get covered from the wax stand out more because the they got cleaned out (prob from the clay) and wax(white color wax) feel in them so now they give a brighter white color output inside of them

I don't mean to steal this post but...

I have somebody elses paint on my bumper/panel. Look like somebody rubbed their card onto my vehicle and now their red paint is on my silver max. How do I get that out???

Any over the counter cleaner wax ought to remove it.
