Has anyone tried this method yet? It looks like a good idea.

It's kinda overkill IMO. Griot's has had a similar item for a while. Claying is not that hard or time consuming to do by hand. And I prefer to use clay with long straight passes rather than with a circular type motion.

While the concept is a good one, the general concensus is to clay by hand. Given that Maximas have some tight spaces, you are still going to have to clay by hand in order to reach those spaces.

I'd stick with using your good ol hands.. because you tell when and area is clean when the friction changes.. I'm pretty sure it's not the same "feel" with a buffer.

i say stick with doing it by hand. like others have said, you can tell when the section is cleaned, it doesn't take all that long, and you aren't supposed to apply much pressure when claying. easy enough by hand, i think.
