How to fix a cigarette burnhole?
My friend was smoking in the back seat and obviously the ash was blown off onto my light cloth interior and burned a not so deep hole right in the center. How much will something like this cost to fix? Is there a simple solution?
Smoking is def. banned in my car now.

There isn't a permanant fix but, I've got a guy that can fix it temporarily. I say this not because it doesn't look good but, because it won't last. The fix will last only a few weeks at most but, it'll look good in the meantime.
The permanant fix would be to upgrade to a leather interior!
I know just the guy for it too!!

I smoke in my car and I'm yet to burn anything. I let other people smoke, but the condition is, if you burn something, you're paying for the replacement.
Anyways, no matter how you try to patch it, it's going to look like a patch. It may look better than a big burn mark but it's still going to look like a patch.

if your seat covers are a solid color and not a pattern you can make a temp fix quite easily, the same way most detail shops do.
take a sharp razor, move your seat all the way forward. using the blade you can 'comb' some of the carpet from an inconspicuous spot under the seat. im not talking about cutting a section out, you just want the strands/fibers- so a slight angle on the blade should get what you need. i've always used emblem adhesive, but super glue might work as well- put some inside the burn hole and cover it with the carpet strands.
its a quick fix and can look quite acceptable with practice. most detail shops charge $10-25 to do this, and an upholstery shop can be upwards of $35.

If one of my buddies lit up in my car, I'd take off my left shoe, belt em over the head with it, and let em walk home.
