What is the best drying towel?
Ok so I used the absorber for years and I like it except for the fact of constantly ringing it out. Then I bought this BS item from the NY International Auto Expo called the Super Chamois a material made in Germany well basically it sucks leave streak marks and it also leaves little fibers from the towel on the car. Now what do you think is the best drying towel that won't streak up as much and wont leave fibers.

+1.... Ive been using a water blade but it wont get all the areas on the vehicle. A real leather chamois is the best choice for a streak free and fiber free finish..

I've used the waffle-weave microfiber towel from Griot's Garage for years. These towels are not cheap, but they are about twice as thick as others on the market and I can dry my whole car with one towel without wringing it out. A towel will last you for years; and I generally toss it into the washer/dryer when I'm finished using it.
A genuine leather chamois is a good, but you have to continually wring it out, and that adds time to the drying process. When it's warm outside, I like to get the car dried as quickly as possible so as to avoid spots...a chamois is also hard to keep clean. I've not tried the water-blade, but a neighbor uses one and he likes it...he uses it in conjunction with a m-f drying towel and he gets the job done fast. I'm just reluctant about rubbing that thing across my paint.

You can get them from ebay but I get mine from this place: http://www.pakshak.com/. I also use the waffle weave microfiber towels.
i have tried a cloth towel - it doesn't hold water too good and once it gets saturated, good luck.
i tried a leather chamois, and IMO it is not a good drying agent at all. it gets stuck to the car and you'll be wiping and the chamois will get stuck in one spot.
i love the absorber cloth. matter of fact, a guy bought my extra one today when i was washing my car and he liked it. i know you do have to keep ringing it out, but to me, it beats anything i have used and it stays in my hand pretty good. . .

I use the absorber, I love the thing. Though it does tend to stick sometimes, especially if you are reaching for a spot such as your roof. But, it's reuseable, and if it gets dirty you can throw it in the wash
