Mr. Clean Automatic Car Wash FTW!!

I have used it twice now and this stuff works magic. You simply wet the car....spray the soap on, scrub using a wash mitt, rinse, and apply the "auto dry" setting and mist the entire car. Wait 30 mins and let the car dry on its own and it comes out just as good as a chamois. I definitely recommend this!

I am pretty sure you can get them at any home improvement store, as it was marketed like 2 years ago and recently found the soap refill in a Home Depot. I am pretty sure it is like $40 for the unit and $5 per bottle of soap. We got it for my father for fathers day a few years back and I just started using it now that I got my car...and I am shocked at how well it works.

It's the drying filter that gets used up so quickly. That filter takes the minerals out of the water to reduce water spots. The filters say they are good for four rinsings, but I only got 2 out of the few filters I used.

Like the OP, I was amazed the first time I tried it, but now the system is gathering dust in my garage.

I tried this thing and I hated it. It left a lot of water spots and I used almost the entire filter in one use. I spent more time going over my car to get rid of water spots than I would have simply drying it with a M/F towel.
