Trust me, this is what you want...

http://www.optimumcarcare.com/norinse.html

I've been using rinseless washes (Protect All's Quick and Easy Wash initally and Optimum No Rinse since it came out a couple years ago) in my detailing business since 1994. I've cleaned over 10,000 vehicles that way and the stuff flat rocks. Much faster than a typical wash with hose once you get the hang of it-which takes 1-2 washes.

^wow, that seems almost too good to be true...what kind of elements are we talking about though? I mean does the car have to be almost perfectly clean already to use NO water, since just rubbing stuff on a dry car can lead to scratches...?

I'm real eager to hear more about this.

Optimum No Rinse does use water, you just don't have to rinse it. Here is a write-up I did on how to use it.

Really good if you live in an area with water restrictions. Just pull your car into the garage and wash it there.

ONR. Nice. I'll most certainly have to give that a try since here in Atlanta, we have no water. Thanks for the info and a rejuvenated feeling that I can actually wash my car again.
