Should I use Klasse A-I-O?

I'm going to wash, clay and wax. Should I polish with Klasse in between clay and wax? Could it hurt?

Go for it. That would be the only part of the washing procedure I would use it. Can't hurt by any means. Let us know how it goes.

If you clay your car I would recommend polishing before you wax, Clay bar prepares your paint for polishing or buffing by removing surface contaminants. You're left with a clean paint surface, perfect for using abrasive chemicals on; Since you wont be scratching or introducing contaminants and unwanted particles into your clear or paint surface.

Personally the best polishes and car care products are Ardex, 3M, Carkem, Meguiars, and Zymol. There are a few turtle wax and off the shelf products that are good but those are the chemicals you will find at the best detail and body shops.

If you have any ?s Id be glad to assist.

Thanks, guys.

Will Klasse stand in as a polish since that's what it's called?

I have another question. My headlights were purchased from another org member and he had painted them with two coats of clear coat. The paint is now peeling and there is pretty much a line 1/3 down each headlight. Needless to say it looks like crap.

Is there anything I can use to remove the rest of the clear coat without damaging the clear plastic?

I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 and then wax over that the following day. You can find Wolfgang products at Autogeek.net

Wash, Clay, Polish then wax or seal. Klasse AIO is a chemical cleaner w/o abrasives and will on last a little while. It isnt made to buff out swirls and scratches. I would top it with some wax or sealant. It also seems to help extend the life of the wax/sealant topper.

Maybe the next time I'll replace Klasse with a dedicated polish and dedicated sealant the next time. This time, this is what I used:

The ScratchX was a mistake I needed to use in order to realize.

Here are the results:

It was an overcast day and these pictures really don't do that nXt justice.

Looks great man. I use that same clay on my car, after I use a 3M wax that makes my paint feel unbelievable.
