Left Roof Open During Rainstorm....
and now my car reaks of must and mildew....I cleaned it up very well, got some carpet scrub, armorall, leather cleaner and it was fine for a day, but the smell will not go away.
is there anything else that someone can advise me to do besides get it detailed professionally? I am on the east coast now and dont have the fortunate capability of going across the street to Cobblestone like I did in AZ....

I'm going to go get it detailed and mention it to them. I already shampooed everything from the interior roof to the carpets. I'm sure I missed something that a detailing service would not, so I am hoping that's all it is. The smell has certainly lessened lately, so thats a good thing...
Unless I just smell now and dont realize it??

I did the same thing, left all windows and sunroof open during a downpour. Right after it happened i sucked all the water off the floor with a steam cleaner, dried the seats off and left it sit in the sun with windows cracked an inch to "bake" the interior. It was completely dry in 2 days and i have no musty smell at all.
I would think shampooing the carpets would make the smell worse because you are just making the carpets wet again. i would just give it time to dry real good and use some odor eliminator like fabreeze or something.
