Need help rust on wheels

I am looking for any ideas or help on how to get the rust off of my wheels from bad brakes that i had. I want something that would get the rust off and possibly not ruin the finish on the wheels. Thanks in advance for your help!

For shyts and giggles, try a magic eraser on a small portion of your wheel and see what happens. I had some discoloring (not sure if it was rust or not) and it took it right off. As to how safe it is, didn't seem to affect the paint on my wheels but yours may be different.

step one: jack car up
step two: remove said wheel
step three: dismount tire from said wheel
step four: put wheel back on
step five: start and put into high gear
step six: place sand paper on wheel
step seven: try not to lose your hand

If he loses his hand, can he sue you?

Depending on where the rust is your best bet might be sanding it down and hitting it with that rust inhibitor stuff and if its on the face of the wheel then you might just need to get it refinished to make it perfect.
