Are your windows water-spotted or etched?

Guys, I just tried the most amazing new product. Its from a company called Metal Wax. The actual product is called HP Metal Cleaner and produced astonishing results. Most of the time when I hear about these "miracle" products I am hesitant at best. These guys got me to bite. I ordered a window polishing kit and after arrival, within literally minutes, my water-spotted windows looked like mirrors. No elbow grease to speak of, no primitive #0000 steel wool techniques, no side effects, just clean, clear, beautiful windows. My only regret is not taking before and after pictures. I did the first window and in my excitement followed up with the rest.

The direct link to the product purchase is as follows:

A demonstration video is available on youtube as well:

All of their products seem to be highly effective as you can see on their youtube channel. I would definitely recommend this product to my own mother. I am going to try and contact the company about possibly setting up a group buy if anyone is interested.

An no, I do not work for the company! Im just a highly enthusiastic user of the product. This process used to take hours of tedious polishing at the risk of scratching the glass. TRUST ME! It pays itself off in one use and you end up with enough to do another 15 or 20 cars!

Enjoy!!!

I work at a car wash, two effective methods ive found are:
Acid wash.
Wet sand.
Both have worked like a charm.
A detail shop once showed me a tire shine he used that also worked really well, but he never told me what it was.

I wax my windows every time I wax the car. How does a window get so spotted that it can't be removed? Perhaps sitting for a long time?

lol.. You answered your own question.. This is true when the car is parked near a "hard water" area, i.e.- sprinklers, and left out in the sun..

I had to acid wash mines to get rid of the spots immediately followed with a couple coats of wax..

You can also try using white vinegar to remove the spots.

My car has extreme heavy pitting on the glass from water spots.

I used my Makita Variable Speed Buffer/Polisher with Water Spot Remover and it works like a charm!

I used Malco Water Spot Remover.
