Shelf life for car wash soap

I have a container of Meguiar's Gold Class car wash soap that I've been using for the past 2 years. Is there a shelf life for these things? I store it in my garage so it has experienced all sorts of temp. fluctuations throughout the years

shake it up really good and give it a try, if it works then you're in business, if not, then just discard and get a new gallon.

I can't say for sure, but I would wager that if no fluid separation has occurred, then you're probably good to go. I've used soap that old and it has worked great.

It's funny you brought this up. I've had the same bottle of Gold Class for at least 2 years and used it today for the first time since last fall. I noticed right away that it didn't really create much suds so I emptied the pail and started again but this time I put a ton of Gold Class soap. Again almost no suds. I remember that the last bottle I had of Gold Class did the same thing after a while. I threw it away and went right up to the auto parts store & bought a new bottle and immediately noticed a difference when filling the pail with soap & water. So I would say it must go bad after a while. Too bad they don't make smaller bottles.
