Cracked Dash!! Help!!!

Hi Guys,

Been on here for a while, about to buy a 2000 Ti model maxima. Has a few issues, but the BIGGESTE is the cracked dash by the drivers side.

Can this be fixed??? Does the WHOLE thing need to come out?

The other issue is there are remains of a paint protector(car bra or whatever).. Is that easy to remove?(First 2 pics) I have a good panel beater friend, so thats not a BIG issue, but still nice to sort.

Please advise asap

Dash is toasted.

A heat gun and time and it will come off.

shoot through

Thanks for the quick reply.

So, does that mean that the dash needs to be re-upholstered or replaced????

How expensive?

Goto your local junk yard you should be able to find on in a decent condition. I honestly don't see it being cheaper to fix it than replace it with a used dash.
No clue on cost.

Thanks.

How big of a job is it to replace the whole dash? I remember I did a very similar thing for my honda ascott and that was a pain in the a$$.

Does the whole centre console/dash need to come off?

I'm pretty good with my hands, and am mechanically minded, but if its a big job then I'd rather get someone else to do it, as I dont want to break any plastic clips or anything.
