I'm looking to pick up a detailing kit for my car and saw this Meguiar's kit on sale - It's called the Meguiar's Complete Car kit, and it seems to have everything I'd need to clean up my dirty Maxima. Is this a good deal at $52? Or can you suggest something better?

Meqs is ok for over the counter....I use only high end products.. Wolfgang or Pinnacle.. If you care about your car and know how to detail a car.. Buy something better... Not from Walmart or Auto parts stores..lol

Well it depends on what is expensive to you...lol. Its more expensive than Megs, but lights years better !
