what gear for dyno and rev limiter question

Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered but I can't find it now and I just want a quick answer. I'm a 5 speed and want to know what gear I should dyno in? I've had a dyno once before and it was done in 3rd gear and showed 177.4 peak hp and 186.3 peak torque. If I'm not mistaken, 4th gear is closer to a 1:1 ratio and is a more accurate measurement. So, which gear?
My second question, looking at my old dyno and some of the dyno slips here, it looks like the rev limiter is really ~6350 and not 6500 like I keep reading. This would make sense since my shift light set to 6400 won't illuminate but when I set it to 6300 it lights just prior to fuel cut. Is that an accurate observation or is my car a freak?
Thanks, I know this is long.

It doesn't seem to make much of a difference between 3rd or 4th gear on the 4G's. 3rd seems to be more consistent though. Either one should be fine.

No idea what's up with your limiter, though

Motorvate (MaxVQ's) dyno went up to 6500rpm.

I have a few other 4G dynos going up to that also. That would really bite if your getting limited too early, esp since the MEVI needs every rev it can get
