2000 Maxima Auto Dynoed

hey!

just got back from dynoing the maxima! i have an intake, exhaust, pulley, and b-pipe (and zex 100 shot) weather was nice at 62 degrees and the n20 bottle pressure was at 950. car has 72k miles.

2 n/a runs
1st run was 185.0 power and 190.5 Torque
2nd run was 181.5 power and 189.2 Torque

1 Nitrous Run
257.1 Power and 287.2 Torque

heres the run sheet...are these numbers pretty good?? any input would be greatly Appriciated.

nope, no y-pipe as of right now...i did have one on there, but i had to sell it due to loss of job ...but in about 2-3 weeks i will have one again...precats suck!

Y-pipe would put you right into the 200s.

yeah im going to be re dynoing when i get the y-pipe (hopefully in about 2 weeks) ill keep you guys posted on what is going on!

Those are good results however since you are getting a Y pipe, you should get a cutout to put before the cat. You'd make more power from nitrous with a bigger exhaust or with an open cutout before the stock cat.

I'm still in love with those numbers. Get your timing advanced to 17, and you should see a decent increase in HP, as well. Plus is a free mod to do...

a free mod to do? i know im pretty new to the whole maxima tuning thing but how is it free? lemme in on this lil secret of yours please.
