there really doesnt seem to be any info out there about advancing timing with the EB, anybody have a link or anything to some info? I imagine you just pull fuel with the MAF signal and add it with the injector pulse width, putting the ECU into that higher timing cell, similar to advancing with bigger injectors and a VAFC. Anybody know anything more descriptive about this than what is in this thread?

yeah, I sent him a PM, he hasnt been on in a while though so I was hoping to get someone else's input. I can get a pretty good deal on an EMB with the harnesses and everything, so if I can get the final word on timing advance im definitely picking it up

Isn't it briefed in this thread? From Dandy? IIRC he elaborated either here or somewhere else exactly what he did and it wasn't the crude MAF-V/Inj pulse manipulation either.

I've searched high and low in this forum and others, read many many threads, and haven't found anything. Dandy and knight both said they should make a thread about it but as far as I can find that never happened. As soon as I get/find the info I'll make sure it's added to a sticky somewhere

The only thing I saw was post # 47 & 48 on this thread. Even then it's horrifically vague.

yeah, thats the problem. after further reading, it seems like its just a 16x16 timing chart that can advance and retard timing, but it seems like if it were that simple people wouldnt have been saying that you cant do it. oh well, i guess I know for sure that you can do it, if I end up going that route instead of UTEC i guess ill just find out the hard way and let everyone know a little more clearly how its done. unlike those before who have done it, i know how to take screen shots and write two sentences about a pretty important subject
