I don't see a link to runfiles? No way are you that lean...My guess would be you have your main cat still installed? That would cause the 'lean' condition.

Considering your electronic set-up (UTEC), IMO, why not go ahead and get a wideband installed pre-maincat (no pun indented). And I'm not too familiar with the Y for the SE-R's, but is there a possibility that there are still some form of pre cat still there? Speaking of which, what's the reason for not getting you know ... headers?

the 05 altimas have a OEM wideband.. hmm...... i might have to look into the pre-cat wideband...

getting tuned with the utec will help alot after the cam install.....
as for headers, the altima has an issue... teh CEL that no one can fix yet...
not to mention the shi ity sound........

I was speaking more along the lines of you being able to monitor / log on your own. I know the Cipher will let you read OEM AFR's, but a quality aftermarket WB is always nice to have. Does the car sound shatty even w/ stock exhaust(i.e. catback)?

I've heard vaguely about the O2 sensor problem, but IMO, it doesn't affect performance and, well....has anyone really looked into it?

I'm working on the O2 issue right now. I have the cattman headers installed, just waiting my y-pipe with the high flow cat and O2 bungs relocated and then see what the deal is with the secondary sensors that everyone is talking about. And an aftermarket datalogging wideband is a huge plus!! I have one of those going on as well

What's the point of getting a dyno done if they don't go to fuel cut? 4th gear pull? Might be a possibility they hit the speed limiter.

Nice run Jeffatronic Harmonic Balancer!

Not a fan of how TQ really plumets 5k+ but with some A/F corrections that can help the curve out. Maybe the NWP VIAS delete could help your top of. Or could be gearing?

My guess now that I think about it is Nissan is trying to discourage you from running it out that far and have made their alterations to that end of the band to encourage you to not take it out that high.

I want to see some A/F logging no cats...or no cats affecting the reading I should say.

Ya, you know me, I say fuel cut every time. I told you to let me know so i could give you some "notes".. this will play a huge role in displaying the difference the cams actually play, since well, the cams we buy these days aren't really mean for much under 6K.

Interesting....I'll have to dig a little into this via FSM when I have time to see is really up. I know my O2 set-up is different than those in your L31/A34's, but, FYI, my Secondary O2 sensor is plugged into my primary port, and mine runs fine, albeit w/ an SES, which seems to be the issue here (inspection / emissions, etc)

It's in my latest dyno post.

Here’s comparing AFR w/ and without a test pipe. Lean graph = w/o test pipe & functioning main cat. the richer version is without a cat (test pipe)

wow. there is a huge difference between readings with a a cat and without. Would make tuning extremely difficult if they cant get a proper reading.
