TS reflash & dyno day!!

Well. I finally coughed up the cash and did it!! Eventhough, I was shooting for 250 HP, I am still ok with the results (241HP, 227whp). Here are the things that caught my eye:

1. Awesome torque increase! A lot more than I was expecting!!
2. AFR does not richen up until 4K. Not sure why. Tadashi blamed my 76MM MAF. I guess I agree with him to a certain extent, however the 13.5 baseline TS uses should have helped that. He also said I may have an exhaust leak
3. No data after 6600. With the extended rev limiter increased to 7100, there should have been some data. When I asked Tadashi, he stated he did not want to "push it" because it was decreasing in power anyway. It would have been good to know it regardless and I will at my next dyno after I fine tune AFR.
4. Spikes in the curve. Tadashi blamed that on the VIAS delete. I wish he would have done some runs in 2nd and 3rd gears (evidently, he uses 4th gear during the reflash).
5. I wish he would have used a Dyno Jet to begin with (see comparison sheet).

Nevertheless, worth the drive from Vegas. I am looking forward to fine tuning the AFR and re-dynoing.

How else are you compensating for the added ID of the MAF? SAFC or similar, or is it just the TS flash?

Just the re-flash for now. SAFCII hopefully going in later this week.

My thoughts exactly
How do you change the web address on your sig to your dyno results without braking the link? Pretty clever. I tried doing that for mine but failed miserably.

Aww IIRC he had a
custom made intake from his old civic
HS headers
cattman 3"
SSIM
TS reflash (no extended rev IIRC)
Test pipe
pulley and maybe one other thing, if not thats it, i might have spacers as well, and he's getting some extreme numbers.. granted that he should earn 10-15whp more than u for his headers and cattman 3"... but there's also J-dub which is on youtube with a white 6spd that has cattman I/H/E (2.5") test pipe and maybe one or two other mods that i dont know of but he's dynoing 250whp

Not yet. I am still working out a few kinks.

I changed headers and went back to the stock MAF. Now, I am running super rich due to the TS flash.

I tried tuning with SAFCII, but didn't like the particular unit. Kinda crappy if you ask me!!!

Gonna wait it out for SurraTT's Utec harness. In the meantime, I will probably send my ECU back down to TS for another reflash. He only charges like a buck fifty to redo it.

Feels the same. A lot quiter than the Stillens.
76MM MAF. I went back to stock to compare HP and TQ betwen the two of them.

I meant quieter. I went the OBX route and not back to stock.
Now my AFR, due to TS reflash, is down to the high 10s at WOT. I guess I should have kept the factory MAF on it before the flash. I am curious what I will dyno running so rich
