graph

my old photobucket account is locked, i copied it and it was small. will get another scanned pic up soon.

tuning, was done via 2 1600 cc injectors controlled by lt-2 (injector controller with map sensor). no timing, stock ecu, in order to allow boost to go to 10 psi without detonation used methanol injection. afrs where pretty mych at 12.2s.

Thank NISMOLOGY, was a wuick little whip.
no $$ for the standalones, but a real intercooler, proper flowing piping, and a good turbo, made good power.

Do you have a link to the injector controller?

I would like to check it out.

i know someone who is selling an injector controller for good deal, altough its another brand, dont recall how much the lt-2 was new, but alot of rotary and 4 cyl guys are more familiar with it, since its basically a fuel only ecu, no timing but only controls utpo 4 injectors.

well before changing to the gt35 and dek oovi, making 330 who i never launched the car well, when i decided to lauch it like a man i poped a tranny. then i made the 393 and went back to the track once before selling it shifting nice and easy not launching it too hard i made 2 12.4 passes. but im sure the car had 11s in it. my buddy ran 11.80s in his lightning and it was neck and neck on a street rolling race, and the car was neck and neck with a z06 on the highway (c6) which is another high 11 second car.

I had the chance to experience this Dyno, as well as drive back home on the highway next to this bad boy. It was a really quick car, on the street I remember it being quick but not insane, until we jumped on the highway, rolling from like 60 or so as soon as he hit it, it looked like i went into reverse LOL. back then i was at 300hp i think. Cool car! Too bad its in pieces now

115?? Oic you said if memory serves correct. I was trapping 110mph. With the V2 vortech and DEK at 320whp. But 393 is awesome. I was hoping to get to 400whp and I will be happy.

yeah man , 115 or 117 from what i remember, but i cant be certain, not sure the V1 V2 will make the torque though.

The north has alot of cool peeps that i have met. I will work on the parts and if i decide to jump on stock sized pistons and eagle rods, youre gonna be my builder Abdala (0; then we can truly say its a MIAMI car. haha

spider gear in the diff snapped in 2, parts flew into clutch, destryoed the pressure plate bolts, starter, luckily the pressure plate had 2 bolts left and it didnt fly out. it was during top of first gear.

yeah, i used slicks, but didnt go crasy on the launch. didnt want a repeat , and it was with drag radials when it broke. i will actually send streets the dvd of when it broke, hopefully he can youtube it and post a link

Streetz, i wont hold you responsible man, no guarantees in racing, thing can blow up at any point, just have to be willing to live with it. well see what happends, no point of making big power if tranny cant take it, 400 whp may be a happy point for me.

OK - not that it's a "good" thing but I was seriously hoping it was the diff that broke and not 1st gear. Reason being is that the only people that I know that have broken 1st gear were either running extreme amounts of power (more than I'll likely ever have, like 22psi) or broke it from wheelhop or flukey accidents (one guy broke one NA). I know of a few people who have broken the OEM open diff though, not terribly surprising.

Anways, sick number and your new setup should be badass.

I guess I need slicks instead of the drag radials. I just went to the track this past weekened and my best was 13.3 at 115 mph. The freeken car just wants to spin like crazy. I thought colder air, better hp. And I mean the track wasn`t that cold either other cars were hooking up, there were some muscle cars there going 115 at 11.9. My personal best is 12.9 at 116 mph and that still sucks but it is better than this past weekened. So will there be that much difference between DRs and slicks?

Sorry for stepping sideways here on your thread. (thanks)

DRs are a lot less consistent in a high power FWD car than slicks are. The weight transfer off the tires affects the traction of DRs in a FWD car a lot more than it does slicks.
