Fuel filter

How many miles between fuel filter changes? My FSM doesn't specify.

15k for stock size filter.

30k for 300Z size filter.

OEM Nissan:
Part Number: 16400-0M200 (Standard)
Price: $10 at discount Nissan dealers
Part Number: 16400-N7600JP (300Z)
Price: $10 at discount Nissan dealers

It's recommended you use the OEM 300Z filter due to its having greater surface area, thus taking a longer time to lose its filtration efficiency. No, it will not increase performance.

my haynes manual says the fuel filter change interval is 30k miles for my 95. should i change 15k or 30k? or in between somewhere?

It's your choice. My recommendation posted above is the result of other member's (and my own) personal experience.

300zx fuel filter

Is the part number for the 1990-1996 300ZX(Z32) or the 1984-1989 300ZX(Z31). I just purchase one but it has a different part number?

All 85 and up Maximas until 2000, when Nissan so geniously moved the fuel filter to the tank.

Stupid Nissan....think I am going to PAY to have you screw around with my gas tank? Your reject-o-techs cant even diagnose a simple problem. I (consumer) have to do it for you (supplier) and then I get the "oh" remark when the obvious has been pointed out

Do you mean the 85-99 maximas or 85-2000? until 2000 could go either way to me.. I have a 2K and will swap filters around xmas time and am curious. Thanx
