No. All you need is a 1/2 rachet to unscrew the fill hole. Here is a link coutesy of StygianMax

StygianMax,
Good job with the instructions and pictures of the tranny fluid change, but I seemed to have cracked my shifter sensor. Any idea where I can get a new one. Does anyone have the part #? The sensor is cracked a little around the edge and slowly drips fluid. Thanks.

As for the sensor, what I might suggest is you try a "cheap" fix before you really have to lay out the dough for a new sensor. Because I can't see where from the sensor the leak is from, I'm just taking a stab in the dark here. Is some type of high temperature "caulking" or sealant for cars that's not going to permanently bond your sensor in place? That might form a decent seal on the outside surface of the sensor. It's not the ideal approach but it might just work (& without you having to remove the sensor only to dump out your whole load of tranny fluid). FYI, there's a rubbery O-ring on the sensor if you haven't already seen it.
Sorry, I don't know what the part number is. Good luck & let us know if you find a good fix for the problem!

I went down to the dealership earlier today and got the sensor for $25. I took out the old sensor and caught all the fluid in a container. Everything seemed to be going fine, but when I screwed the new sensor in, the head of the bolt broke off. I tried drilling a hole in the stud and used ez out, but I can't seem to get it out. Anyone have any suggestions? Problem after problem I tell ya.
