MT-90 doubts

ok guys, i bought me 3 quartz of MT-90 for my 6 speed, but then decided to call the dealer just to make sure its ok to change the transmission fluid...but the guy i was talking to was really unsure if it voids the warranty or not and he kept repeating that if it would be his car he would stay stock since you wont be able to go back to regular after synthetic. im 99.9999% sure that it does not void warranty but just all the hassle of changing it to synthetic.

my question....

IS IT WORTH IT???

thx

Manual transmission oil requirements are API, GL-4, Viscosity SAE 75W-90. If MT-90 satisfies this, then ignore what the guy at the dealer said.

Many ppl here use MT-90, so I'm pretty sure it fits the requirements. Ignore the stupid comment about being able to go back to regular oil also.

Followeres do what they can, leaders do what they want.

I think the weight depends on where you live-hotter or cooler climates. There should be a page in our owners manual.

There's no reason why changing the fluid should void the warranty, especially if the correct spec is used, which MT-90 will satisfy. You can also switch back and forth at will, though I don't recommend it.

BTW, 3 quarts is fine for the 6 speed. You would need more for the 5 speed.
