finally changed tranny oil... now running MT-90

after 5k miles on the tranny oil the shop put in after rebuilding my transmission, i bought Redline MT-90 and made the change.

I had no problems removing the fill bolt, but the drain...

I used the shift sensor which I had no problem opening... well sorta. I didn't yank the sensor fast enough and as the oil started pouring out, it hit the sensor and scattered all over the place. Basically, i spilt about 1-2 quarts. Thank god I laid an old shower curtain underneath... but the smell was HORRIBLE. Almost made me puke...

After closing it all up, I took it for a test drive. It seems a bit more smooth... no drastic change. I also parked the car on the road and sprayed simple green underneath the tranny and surrounding area... then proceeded to spray water underneath there for a quick clean.

I gotta keep an eye on the tranny to make sure it's not leaking any tranny oil after my rebuilt.

Hopefully my tranny will last and the next gear oil change will be at 200k mi.
