$11.94 Oil Change at Walmart
The ad is on the lower right corner.
Price is right but I'm not sure about the Super Tech brand of oil they put in. Anyone have any experience with Super Tech Oil?

Better chance of seeing God!
before I will ever go back to Walmart for an oil change! Love the prices, but you get what you pay for in service. The first and last time I took my car in (during a cold winter), I was the second car in line. It took them almost 2 hours before the car was finished. Not to mention the oil on the arm rest and the door handle when it was done. Got a free change for next time and I still won't go back.
I can't speak for the Super Tech oil, although I am sure it is acceptable for 3k miles. Most likely a name brand oil under a discount name. Only take a few minutes to do it yourself and you can know it is done right.
Just my $.02

Supertech is a very cheap oil..I Haven't actually compared its quality to others, but I wont run it in my '92 max..I use 20w-50 supertech in my truck though, mostly because it burns so much anyway theres no point in spending more money on oil thats just gonna go up into smoke the same as the cheap stuff..and it doesn't say Penzoil on the container..Thats about its best plus..Its cheap and its not Penzoil...
I agree with Link, you can change the oil in a max in 5-10 min without even using a jack or ramps, and you know its being done right..I would buy a quality oil and do it yourself from now on, but thats just me...

dunno how freaking rail-thin you guys are to change the oil without jacks but I can't imagine being able to do it ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyway my sentiments are otherwise in the same vein - don't go to walmart for an oil change. They'll probably overfill it or something anyway. I learned how to change my oil last year and do it now each time. Costs me $20-25 for a nissan oem filter and mobil1 full synthetic every 5-6k miles. I'd rather that than whatever walmart is going to do, plus you know they'll give you the crappiest filter they can get their hands on.
