Maintenance Questions
Okay. I love driving a car, but I'm not too good with maintaining a car.
I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima GXE Auto with 143k
I bought is used at 120K last year. The previous onwer had bad record logs.
So i think I pretty much need to do everything.
But what is there to do?
I've had a fuel injector cleaning done about a year ago.
Same with the fuel filter and air filter.
What else is there?
Some that I can think of are...
brake fluid change
transmission fluid change
radiator fluid change
Anything else?

Change your coolant http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/502 but I don't think you should change the tranny fluid. Your tranny might start to slip or something
You can bleed your brakes if you want to... Go change your power steering fluid http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/702 and clean your TB

All of the above. But if on an extreme budget, I'd do coolant first (it's winter now, you don't want a frozen block), then tranny (way, way over due), and finally brakes (unless of course they are giving you problems, then do them first). With poor maintenance history, definitely change the PCV valve, as I doubt it's been changed. You should be able to do all the above for about $20-$30 or so in fluids, and an hour or two of your time.
If you really want to splurge, do the fuel filter (~$10), air filter (~$7), and don't forget your oil and oil filter if they're due (~$15 if using dino oil and an OEM filter). Power steering fluid can also be changed (has it ever been?). Add about an hour if doing all of those, too.
You could also throw in a bottle of $10 Techron (not Pro-Guard, which is the diluted version for $2.50), if you've used questionable quality gas, but that is personal preference.
Finally, make it a New Year's resolution to stay on top of your car's maintenance needs and you'll be set.
