Uh oh.. switch from synthetic to non-synthetic?...

Well I always take my car to the dealership or oil changes since I keep a maintainence book. My local dealership switched me over a synthetic blend at 60k miles.

I took the car to another dealer last week, and just realized they put non-synthetic oil in it.

Can anybody tell me the possible side effects/harm or this? Can I switch to synthetic immediatley? If so I'll go buy the oil and do it tomorrow.
Thanks,
-Cyrus

As far as I know, it's not going to hurt anything. I would just wait for the regular oil to wear out before changing it back to synthetic instead of just wasting it...

No issues with switching back and forth at will. This was originally a problem almost 30 years ago that people still think is valid.

Sweet thanks guy! Looks like I'll go ahead and use this tank of regular before switching back then.
Thanks,
