Dexron ATF fluid any good?
Dexron ATF fluid any good?
well im going to get my transmission oil changed in my auto and the only places around here that do a flush wont let me bring my own fluid in. The local AAMCO uses Dexron ATF and i was wondering if its any good? He said he was pretty good but of course thats what he's going to say. Is it any good?....Thanks in advance

Also ask what brand are they using before you let them do it.

I just talked to them and they said they use the Citgo brand with dexron. Is that brand any good for ATF?

As far as I know, Dexron is a type of ATF, not a brand... The other types are ATF +3 and Type F I think. I don't think he's really telling you anything.
