quick question about ATF

I just put in the stage 2 vb mod and already have a b&M cooler. Ive been good on drain and refills and i also had the tranny flushed about 20k miles ago. Im up to 130k miles now and wanna know which synthetic fluid i should switch to. Also doing the drain and refill, how many quarts do i need to put back in 4 or 4.5 and should the car be warm or cold when i drain it. Thanks in advance.

by the way i have an Amsoil dealer and a mobil 1 dealer about 10 min from me

When doing the drain/refill procedure on these cars, I have always drained the transmissions warm...the fluid seems to drain much better when warm. I always unseat the dipstick while draining to provide a good vent. I then let it drain until nothing else comes out...sometimes overnight in the garage. My experience on the refill is that the transmissions will take anywhere from 4.5 to 5.5 quarts...it just depends. I always measure the fluid that comes out prior to refilling...gives me a good ballpark estimate. In addition, I always install a new drainplug washer and tighten the plug to factory torque specs. If you have any extra fluid left over, you can use it in your power steering. Good luck
