Changing power steering fluid

I just want to make sure i'm doing this right. i got the quaker state synthetic blend ATF, (dexron III, mercon, mercon v). its okay if i mix the current stuff and the synthetic right?

using that turkey baster, i wouldnt change it all... should i try and do it multiple times so i get it all? would a single 946ml bottle be able to do it?

Dexron III is ok. One quart should be enough for a few flushes. You may take out with the turkey baster what`s inside the ps reservoir. Drive a couple of days, repeat the process as desired.

PS fluid does last a long time. It does not require frequent changes like all other fluids in your car. You can inspect for yourself the color of the fluid taken out . A couple of flushes cycle will be just fine.

I changed mine a few months ago. The motorvate method seemed good, but I did it differently. Two tubes come out and go circulate in front of the radiator, where they connect through a hose. I'm guessing this is for cooling? I pulled the underbody cover off, pulled the grill piece off to get to the hose, and pulled the hose off to let the fluid drain out. It was pretty easy, and got a little extra fluid replaced.
