Picking up new 2007 SE tonight. Intend to use Mobil 1 syn or Penzoil Platinum and change every 5,000 as I do in the other cars.
Any ideas on which filter(s) are best to use will be helpful.

Using Amsoil Synthetic since it is the best. Also using their gear oil in my 6speed.

It's been a long time since I visited, and don't know where all of teh data resides. I'd like to see the spreadsheet. I have a 2K SE with 99K miles on it. I use Castroil 10W/30 adn Fram oil filters. I change oil every 5k miles on average, adn teh engine seems just fine. I'd like to know more about this lab wear test, cost, procedure, etc.
