Synchromesh Tranny Fluids?

Will the Pennzoil or the GM Synchromesh Tranny fluid work on our 2k-2k1 maximas? Does anyone here have any experiences with these?
Also, about how many quarts should be needed?

thanks!

Have it in my 98

I put Penzoil Synchromesh in my 98 SE a couple of weeks ago, it shifts smooth with no problems. It does seem to have a lighter weight than the oil I removed from the transmission. I have a couple of posts asking opinions myself of Synchromesh Fluid, not much feedback. I also have a 93 240SX SE. In the 240sx.org forums, they speak positive of the Synchromesh oil, apparently other imports such as Hondas also like the Sychromesh. As stated, I have it in my Maxima but if I do not recieve much more positive feedback I may replace it with Amsoil before a long drive with the Maxima. I have Amsoil 75-90 in the 240sx, but I can not shift into 1st gear without coming to a complete stop. Supposedly Synchromesh helps with this situation.
Maybe someone can do a poll of all the different Gear Oils to see what the majority use.
