Gear oil question.

I have 102k miles on a stock tranny. I want to put in mt-90 Redline gear oil. the thing is, its synthetic. Will it be a smart move to throw in synthetic gear oil at 102k miles?

Yes. You will get smoother shifts and better cold weather performance from Redline MT 90.
