Low Oil Pressure?

I have a 97 Maxima and for some reason when I first start up the car the Oil pressure is fine. But after 10 minutes of driving my Oil pressure goes to -0-
Any Ideas on what could be causing this problem? I reciently changed my Filter and Oil. So all fluid levels are fine....

How are you measuring your o/p? By guage or the light? Of course, in either case, you'll want to get an immediate expert evaluation of what's going on, as lack of o/p can be catastrophic in seconds. If you're using a guage, and it's all the way to zero with no secondary indications of o/p drop, then perhaps it's a guage system malfunction. Could be the same for the light. Also, some cars manuals actually advertise that some flickering of the o/p warning light is OK at a hot idle. For my car (G35) there is no indication that Nissan thinks a flickering o/p light is OK, again, at least for my version of the VQ. Finally, another question: what oil are you using? If it's an especially thin one, or perhaps a poor quality dino that is shearing down out of grade, it may be so thin that when hot, your car is not able to maintain proper pressure.
