Seafoam. The 8th wonder of the world?

I was just talking to a mechanic at work and we were discussing if Seafoam is any better than a bottle of injector cleaner. He said he didn't think Seafoam would be much more of a help. I know a lot of you have used it and loved it. So why's it better? Will it stir up a lot of harmful junk on mine since I have 150k and have never used it? Thanks.

Caleb

seafoam and all the other crap to me is over rated, if you intake is so dirty that you think you need to clean it then take it apart and clean the freakin thing...

if you think your injectors are clogged then you probally have other issues going on

Hmm so if the valve and combustion chambers are carboned, I should just take those out too?

Some people just want to stand out don't they.

To all of you who don't think it works, bring in some data to prove it doesn't. I've seen automotive sites all over the internet with people using the stuff and they all have good things to say about it. I've also seen more people with boats using this stuff than car owners and they have good things to say about it too.
