A different Auto-RX ? -Filter changing

Got Auto RX, gonna start this weekend BUT... I want to change the filter four times over the process (twice on the clean phase, twice on the rinse, each at 750 mile intervals) but dont want to pay 13 bucks each time for mobil filters. What are other alternative filters besides nissan, that are reasonably priced?

I just completed the Auto-RX treatment. I don't really see the need to change the filter four times during the process. I followed the instructions that were included exactly and just got an excellent UOA back from Blackstone Labs telling me that my engine is extremely clean for 53k miles and that it is in great shape.

Mobil 1 filters are not necessary for auto rx treatments. A regular Purolator or even an ST Walmart filter will suffice. Since you have a newer vehicle, the filter change in the middle of each interval (clean and rinse) is not necessary. It is only necessary for older neglected vehicles with over 100k miles on the odometer.

Champion Labs make the Mobil 1, K&N, Bosch Premium, STP, and Walmart's Supertech brands. I have listed them in order of quality and price.

one company PUROLATOR great filters for the cash. PURE1 or Premium plus should both do good
