Seafoam/brake booster/oil change q...

I was reading the posts of the "good seafoam experience" and picked up some yesterday, in the hopes that I would run it through the brake booster line today. It was somewhat inconclusive what people were saying in the other post, about the necessity of an oil change after running seafoam through the brake booster. I'm not running it through my crankcase, nor my gas tank. Should I do it today? I don't wanna change my oil again until it's needed...
Thanks,
Lou

Good question. After the brake booster Seafoam, some say to change oil, others say it isn't necessary.

I did the booster thing a few weeks ago and changed the oil a few days later (it needed it anyway). I'd suggest waiting on the Seafoam till just before your next oil change.

If you put it in the oil, then you'll need an oil change soon... If you put it in the brake booster, it'll come out of your exhaust so why do an oil change afterwards?

not all of it can make it out of the exhaust. some is bound to breakup and get in the oil. i would not want that floating around any longer than needed. my suggestion would also be to wait until it is time for oil change.

Read the can You can put it in the brake booster, oil, or gas tank.

If you put it in your oil then you'll need an oil change soon (I say within 100-200 miles). If you put it in the brake booster, some say you need an oil change and some say you don't. I don't change my oil if I put it in the brake booster...

So after reading the other thread it looks like ( and please correct me if I am wrong ) pour 1/3 in the tank, 1/3 in the crankcase and let the car snort the other 1/3rd. Then change oil. That about it?? After the tank of gas running through, should I change the oil again?? Or.... Should I wait to do the brake booster and the oil till the 1/3rd in the tank is nearly used up. Or am I just making way too much of this and just wing it????
