Octane Booster

Has anyone tried any type of octane booster in a Maxima? Or is it reccomended?
Just curious about trying it, I want to get some advice before I do anything. Thanks.

Why would use it when filling with premium will yeld better results and cost less?

Octane booster you buy in a small bottle is worthless.

Unless you are running some serious boost, I don't fancy paying $70 for a tank of gas.

Correct. You only need 91 octane for maximum performance from your Max. Only if you have a turbocharger do you need more octane for higher performance. Check out this thread for more info on octane and what it means:
