Mobile 1 oil in 6th Gen

I changed my oil today at 20,000 miles and put in Mobile 1. It seems to me that the temperature of the coolent is slightly cooler and idle is lower. Am I imagining this or is this the effect in a 6th gen Maxima? It also seems to run better but Im sure thats my imagination.

Depends on what type of oil you used before.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I'll step in as Spelling Police today. . . As has been frequently noted before:

"Mobile" (with an "e" on the end) is a mid-sized, Gulf Coast city located in southern Alabama.

"Mobil" (with NO "e" on the end) is the huge multi-national corporation that brews what's arguably the world's most popular OTC consumer synthetic oil.

A hundred lashes with an oily noodly for you. . .

Allright now, what sub-type (normal or Extended Performance) and viscosity did you use?
