I want to drain and fill. My tranny is an auto.

Bump!!!

How much capacity in a 89 nissan maxima Auto. I drained it, and filled it with how much they said at the store (7.5 quarts) and its waaaaayyyyyy too much. im thinkin about half that if not less.

for the 97 should be about 6 quarts i believe, you can check by filling empty oil bottles with what you get out, but have extra, purchase like 8 just to be safe, and im not 100% so wait for confirmation on this

uhh i think my 5.5gen a/t only took 4 quarts for just a drain and refill, you sure it takes 6-8? thats crazy
