CRC makes a cleaner specifically for cleaning throttle body's. They claim it contains no harsh chemicals that could potentially harm the MAF sensor. I believe NAPA stores sell CRC products.

I just cleaned my throttle body with STP Throttle Body cleaner--it came with one of those little straw attachments that made it easy to spray throughout the opening. My 2005 Maxima has 206,000 mi and it made it idle much smoother and shift smoother, too. Highly recommend this product!

Wow ! You must be driving all of the time. I only have 46 K on my 04 (bought May of 03 = 3+ years old).

The national average is less than 12 K a year.

Good to see that the 6th Gen holds up well to high mileage.

Thanks!

You just need to remove the intake. The have the car on and spray the can around the edge of the throttle body. Thats how I did it.
