I replaced my coolant with Prestone longlife (mix-all coolant types). I don't remember any restrictions in the manual ? Plan to flush/refill every 30Kmiles. It's quite easy to do. The recycle part is a pain as you need to drive to the collection center.

I remember when I was at midas, I got the coolant service done and he was able to put in regular coolant. He was on the phone with nissan and got confirmation. He told me there was a green coolant, and a red coolant and I forgot which one he said was okay for me to keep in there but it was one of those.

Thanks for the replies the owners manual says the green stuff, guess I just go to autozone and buy some Green Prestone Lifetime fluid.

how did you flush/refill yourself, I'm at 15k and just want to add some to my overflow reservoir but I've know some who drain and refill every year or 10-20k
