Cost of maintenance, 6th Gen

I have to take my car ('04 SL) back next week to have them replace my other strut, bastards should have done them BOTH when I took it in last year instead of just one of them....

So my question is: Is $99 reasonable to pressure flush and refill the coolant?
And is $99 reasonable to do the A/C service since Florida summer is right around the corner?

I know they're just trying to milk me, and I can probably do a good coolant flush with distilled water myself.
The A/C I'm a little more worried about because FL summers are F'ing
H O T

btw, the car has 33K miles on it...

Any opinions will be appreciated.

I will be changing my coolant myself, probably this coming fall. I have 56 K miles on my 04 -- most of it highway miles. I expect to have over 60 K miles when I do my change. Coolant lasts longer than it did in the past. You should do the job yourself -- if you can. That way you know it was done right.

I normally don't have service on the A/C until there are problems. I try to run it at least once a month through the winter to keep all seals properly lubricated. Other than that, I just wait for problems before trying to fix what "ain't broke."

99 is an OK price for a coolant flush, IF it includes the price of coolant

i will be getting my coolant POWER flushed next week for $80 + the cost of the coolat ($8 worth) so thats 88 + tax canadian

with the AC, wait until is stops blowing cold air then have it refilled, there is no harm
