Anyone using Amsoil's new Ea oil filter?

If so, what do you think of it. I'm considering it. Because of its new synthetic nanofiber technology, it looks to be a major step up from the old Amsoil SDF-13 and SDF-20 oil filters for the VQ30DE. Guys on the BITOG even advocate using this one through 2 OCI's.

Just wondering what anyone's experience in a Maxima with this filter has been.

Thanks.

I've had my car for over 70k miles and been doing oil changes every 5k-8k. The first two or three were with Mobil 1 or OEM filters, but the rest have been with the EaO13 and I haven't looked back since.

I've been using the EaO-13 since it was introduced...it's an outstanding filter. The previous SDF filters were very good, but the biggest complaint was their small size. The EaO filter is larger (same size as the OEM Nissan filter); it boasts the highest efficiency in the industry; long life and exceptional capacity. I'm using mine in conjunction with AMSOIL Series 2000 0w-30 motor oil at 10K intervals (still very conservative compared to AMSOIL's change recommendation). The engine has over 100K on it; it's as clean as a whistle from what I can see inside; and it doesn't consume a drop of oil between changes.
