Lucas Synthetic oil

Hey, has any one used lucas 10w30 high performance synthetic oil in there VQ30DE engine? If so, have you noticed a positive difference in driving or gains? Such as, more power, smoother engine idling, etc. I'm looking to get some for my next oil change along with Lucas oil stabilizer. Let me know, thx.

They have a subforum for lubricants you'll find all the info and more there. I did a motor flush then switched to synthetic runs great way smoother am using Mobil 1....your results may vary especially with motor flush.

Get Amsoil, it is one of the best oils out there.

I'm sure my buddy talkinghorse will come in here if you are interested in some reading.

I don't have any test data on Lucas passenger car motor oils, but if they perform as poorly as their gear oils and motorcycle oils do (for which I do have comparative test data), I would stay away from it. Lucas gear oils and motorcycle oils pale when compared to other premium oils.

lucas oil stabilizer is terrible.

I think its a big o trying to destroy your car personally.

I mean even if the lucas synthetic oil started out as amsoil, if they used some lucas oil stabilizer in it its poison.

lucas fuel injector cleaner destroyed the tb injectors in my dodge over night, through the gas tank even.
