Hi, I just got a 97 maxima se, auto with 95k miles.
I'm thinking to change the tranny fluid to the car.
My guy always tell me that only use the factory fluid on the tranny, coz they have different pressure design.
I have a full box Majic S Nissan tranny fluid from my Infiniti FX35.
can I use it on my 97 Maxima?
if it's not the right type for the Maxima, which one I should buy.

Please give me an idea.

Never heard of that fluid, but the maxima takes Nissan matic d trans fluid. Not sure if they are the same or interchangeable. I would think they would be. Your best bet is calling a dealership.
