7th gen 2009 here with 80k miles(just bought it), unknown oil type history, but carfax showing regular oil changes
Is Mobile 1 5w30 supersynth with M110 filter still the good choice? I used that combo exclusively for my previous 2002
Thanks

You can use that oil, yes.. but remember Mobil 1 is NOT a full synthetic oil.. Its Hydrocracked.. meaning a blend of a Class III basestock with dino oil mix.. Its a known fact.. Google if you want to verify. If you want a true syth oil you have some choices.
Royal Purple .. Only the HPS OR XPR line with Snerlec ( Not the crap in Walmart)
Black bottle of Amsoil Signature series oil
Anything from Redline is Ester base Class V
A cheaper alternative oil is the German Castrol .. has a nice add pack.. can buy at Walmart.. Look at the back of the bottle and it will say made in Germany.. Not the made in Belgium one.
I have run the Royal Purple HPS street oil with their filter for years.. with drains of at least 10k miles.. Send oil to Blackstone labs and the results are great each time.
