i said a skateboard instead of a tranny jack. i jut lower the tranny onto the skateboard and roll it out.

I forgot that I had a Craftsman Club flyer laying around. The same jack that I bought a couple of years ago was on sale for $89.99 and it came with 2 jackstands,2 wheel chocks, a creeper seat, 4-way lug wrench, fender cover and jumper cables. That's one hell of a deal but you had to be a Craftsman Club member.

Revived! Ha. Actually its good that this popped up so I can warn everybody about Craftsman aluminum jacks. Sometime in '04I bought one of Sears supposed aluminum super duper racing jacks. Less than a year later it got messed up in the ram. I didn't even bother trying to figure out because it was still under warranty. Took it back and got a replacement only to have that one go out seven months later out of the "One time replacement warranty". Tried getting it going with no avail. The guts of the ram just went to ****. Fixing the seals would have been doable but would have been a serious PITA and still cost some money.

This thing gets way lower than the Crapsman would; easily gets under the every part of my 240 which has absurd ground clearance.

Anyway, I really posted because I'm looking for a place to get a high lift floorjack locally. I'm starting to do stuff to my DD truck and I need one of these to really do anything. Lifting from the frame with my racing jack barely gets the tires off the ground. I'm doing a body lift this week and I need something that really gets up there to get the body off. I need something about like this but locally because shipping that 160lbs beast is gonna be a bear.

I have a craftsman aluminum race jack, a craftsman steel floor jack, a generic steel floor jack, a couple bottle jacks.....and about 4 different sets jackstands, including big ones for the jeep....

btw, re: broaner's issue...did you bleed the jack correctly? Every so often it needs to be re-bled and re-oiled. I've had mine for a couple years now and it gets some SERIOUS use (autocross, 100x jacking the maxima up, even many times jacking up the jeep at max lift) and abuse, and it still works great.

 

First one I didn't screw around with at all. Just brought it back and got a new one. Second I've spent a fair amount of time screwing around with it as per the manual. What is the bleeding procedure you recomend?

 

I have my leaky and broken swivel joint piece of **** Craftsman Aluminum racing jack that I paid $200 for and my still working but heavy as crap steel jack.

 

ive got a heavy 3ton jack i usually use most of the time, along with a lighter 2 ton aluminum jack, and 4 normal height jackstands, and a pair of these jackstands ive used to drop an engine out through the bottom of a car. Fully extended, they are almost 2.5-3ft freakin high.

 

2 low pro jack 1 regular jack and 8 jack stands

 

1 large steel floor jack, 1 medium aluminum rapid lift floor jack, 1 bottle jack, 4 small jack stands, and 2 large jack stands.

2 scissor jacks, 1 hydraulic jack (not bottle, and four jack stands. Looking to build two ramps soon.

 

1 small (1 ton?) and 1 medium (2 ton?) One for each side of the car. Jack it up in the right place and the whole side (front and back) comes up. I also have a lift that I've not set up yet (need to concrete floor). 2 jack stands and lots of blocks as well as peices of wood.

 

Ive always owned the junky little red ones. I just bought my first light weight decent jack today. It was at home depot. Its a husky and came with 2 jack stands. I now have 3 sets of jacks stands a scissor lift and the husky. Was maked down from $129 to $99.

 

I have one large floor jack, one of the cheap little red ones (doesn't lift the Max high enough but works fine on the other 2 cars), and 6 jackstands. Looking to get a couple ramps too but I'm having trouble finding some that can deal with my lowered cars.

I have a 3 ton jack and stands, My dad paid $60 for the jack at sears I bought the stands at murrays for around $25

 

107lbs NEVER leaves the garage. 8 jackstands 2-3 extra OEM style jacks.

 

3 Jacks, one 3 ton for my truck, 1 little one for my trunk, on other little one for my garage, and let's not forget the motorcycle jack, and also two stands.

 

I have a 3 ton, then like 5 of those 2 ton jacks that I would buy when I was moving around and they had the deals with a two ton jack and 2 jackstands for like 20 bucks haha
