Floor Jack.
I'm happy with my Michelin 3 ton jack:

I have the "regular" Craftsman 2 1/4 ton floor jack and the aluminum race jack (4000 lbs capacity, IIRC). I also have two 2 1/4 ton jack stands and two 3 ton jack stands.
I got the 2 1/4 jack and stands for like $40 on sale and the race jack for around $140 on sale, from Sears obviously.

This has to be a repost but I ask still.
What is a good bang for buck floor jack. I was over at Freeway's house, and his floor jack was beautiful, lifted the car in a few pumps, from the cross member. I am looking to get a nice and decent one, I dont want to spend $200 on one, but would like to have some quality with it.
Tired of using the stock jack, lifting one side, then the other side, put the jack stand underneath. Dont get me started on how high it can lift the car. Dont get me wrong I understand its the stock jack, I'm just frustrated with it.
I have a feeling a lot of people may have gotten theirs from sears.

I bought the biggest one that was there, I think a 2 or 2.5 ton jack
I got mine from Lowe's for Christmas...my only concern was the overall short handle length, so I just go a hollow metal pipe and slide it over the handle when needed.
It's this one:
